I was nervous about telling my family the truth about everything, but I knew it was the right thing to do. Amaya and I decided to wait until closer to the time when we were leaving to tell them in case it all went very wrong. It had been a good day with them, all going out for lunch and shopping, my mum happily embarrassing me in front of Amaya with photos and stories of when I was a kid. I could tell they had grown very fond of her, hopefully, what we are about to tell would ruin all that, especially between Amaya and Alesha cause they had hit it off better than anyone.
“Can I talk to you all please before we go? It is really important.” I said
“Son, is everything OK?” My mum asked worried now.
