“Is meeting your family right now such a good idea considering it is my fault you don’t have a job?” I said to Joe after he suggested it.
“They don’t need to know you are the reason I lost my job, not right now anyway.” He said.
It had been a couple of weeks since he resigned, thankfully he was doing alright though, concentrating on his music, doing more gigs, he seemed really happy with it all, to be honest.
“Come on beautiful I would really love for you to meet them? And I will tell them the truth about everything after they have met you.” He said pulling me close.
I guess it would only be fair right? He met my family; I should really meet his too? I just hope they do not end up hating me when they do find the truth out.
