I held myself together until I reached my room. As soon as the door closed over, I let myself cry. Why did I need to be this damn stupid? What did I think? He would change for me. Really, can I be any more delusional? I should have stopped this weeks ago, because if I did, then we wouldn’t be here. I wouldn’t be standing in my room, alone and crying. I don’t even want to face Natalie, but I know I will need to eventually, and hope that she doesn’t fire me for this. I can’t afford to be fired. If all of that was not bad enough, now everyone knows something is going on between Ryker and me, or should I say, was going on with Ryker and me.
