Chapter 26 Nayana The house is quiet when I walk in. The relief I felt when I saw none of father’s vehicles present in the driveway doubles as I confirm that probably no one is home. Oh, thank God. I don’t even want to deal with any of them right now. I’m still drained from the hospital, from seeing Leo, from everything that happened. My head feels like it’s been stuffed with cotton, my thoughts are slow and scattered. All I want is to crawl into bed and forget the past two days ever existed.
