After Carrigan left to break up with her boyfriend, I came down to the clubhouse. She and I are supposed to work the bar together tonight for the first time in two weeks. The club businesses are closed for the next two weeks for our annual end-of-summer vacations. Not that we need to take them this year. The whole f*****g spring and beginning of summer were on again, off again with Faylinn coming home. But we've closed down at the same time during the summer for years, so Shamrock isn't changing it. Plus, Faylinn will undoubtedly use this time to plan their wedding. Christ, it's in two weeks, and she's sitting at this table every day with wedding books, planning s**t.
