  I wake up alone in Shamrock's bed. I haven't had a nightmare in years, and don't know why I did last night. Maybe because I was living in one, and now I'm not. When I realized where I was and that Shamrock was staring at me, all the fight left my body, and I just wanted to feel his strength. I don't remember waking up again. Rolling over, I look around and check the clock on his nightstand. Christ, it's five o'clock in the evening.   Rolling out of bed, I find the pile of clothes Willow gave Shamrock for me. I head into the shower, picking out a pair of leggings, a tank top, and another sports bra. I think I could shower three times a day for the next twenty years and still not feel clean enough.
