One hour later, Lia went back to Iris’ room and found Daniel sleeping on the chair next to Iris while holding her hand. He was leaning his head on her lap and they were both sleeping peacefully, so she tried to be quiet while checking Iris’ condition. She was glad when she noticed that her fever went down a bit, but it was still high, even for a werewolf, so she prepared some medication for her so when she woke up, she could take it.
Lia knew that the medication worked only for a while and the fever would come back once its effects wore off, so they needed to find the source of her sickness to cure her.
She still thought that Daniel would not be enough to help his mate, considering their situation, so she knew that they would need to call her other mate to come to help as well eventually
