~One month later
I was nervous as f**k as I climbed off the plane with Paris in Mesa, Arizona. I was invited to go with her to her dad’s house for Thanksgiving. I mean it was great to get to do this. It meant she trusted me and wanted me to be a part of her life but I was about to meet her dad. Her human dad, who would judge me as if I were a human and possibly thinking that I wasn't good enough for his daughter.
We grabbed our things and went to get the rental vehicle I had ordered online. She told me where to go and pointed out places as we drove past them. She was so excited to show me everything. She was so damn adorable with her happiness.
