The day after Christmas, we packed up and headed back to Nebraska with Ethan, Bec and Colt. The four-hour flight was spent with Paris sleeping on my shoulder. I just sat there and admired her and left a few light kisses on her forehead.
We landed in Chadron and got off the plane with our things. Once we stepped onto the tarmac, there we found Akila and one of our warriors waiting for us with two SUVs. I had acquired them about a month ago from a car auction. They were in great shape and I was lucky to have gotten them cheap.
