Temptation in the Office
I woke up earlier than usual, nerves buzzing like electricity through my veins. Today wasn’t just another day at work, it was my first day at Knight & Co., the firm I’d dreamed of joining since college. I dressed carefully, picking a fitted pencil skirt and a silk blouse that clung to my curves just enough to feel confident but not overdo it. I double-checked myself in the mirror, smoothed my hair, and inhaled deeply.
The elevator ride felt endless. My stomach flipped as the doors opened to the polished marble lobby, the scent of expensive cologne lingering in the air. I clutched my bag tighter, reminding myself: focus on your work, Ivy. Don’t let nerves get the best of you.
