Hunter’s POV
I finish up training and head over to the sidelines of the arena to get something to drink. As I am taking a sip I dig through my bag to find my phone. Once I find it, I notice that I have a voicemail and missed a call from Ash, which I found weird since I knew she was at work.
I unlock my phone and begin to listen to it as I am drinking my water.
I can immediately hear the panic in her voice, “Hunter, he found me.” What happened? How does she know he found her, what did he do? f**k, this isn't happening. How did he find her? She was so careful, we all were.
I drop my water bottle out of fear for my best friend and her well being. It hits the ground and the cap breaks, slipping water all over my bare feet, but I don’t care about that right now.
