I heard Rose take a deep breath hearing what I said last. My heart started to calm down from my anger from Amber as she leaned her head on my shoulder.
“What are we going to do now?” she asked in a whisper. She was about to say something more but cut herself and took to hugging me tighter. She sighed deeply before going completely silent.
“You have something else on your mind, Rosie. You know you can tell me anything, right?”
“I don’t know. You might not like it.”
“I might. I might not, but it will be better to be out in the open before it’s too late, right? It won’t do you any good if you keep it to yourself.”
