At my dark grin, Casey fear wiped away from her eyes as she shrieked at me and rushed at me.
I was ready for her this time.
I might not know how to fight like she does or have excess amount of power in me like Hazel but I have something which made me overpower Casey.
I had the will to live and was desperate to not lose. Tired of losing too and even though my wolf knew we would not only have our ass handed to us, she still pitched in the small way she could.
But most especially, something else inside me pitched in and that was what made the fight a little fair.
