“So how was it? Was I just as good?” Damien leaned down and kissed Serenity’s forehead causing her to giggle.
“You won’t hear any complaints from me.” She scooted herself deeper into his embrace, feeling his warmth and taking in his scent.
“I don’t know why you would love someone like me.” Damien whispered quietly into her temple.
“What’s not to love? I honestly don’t know how anyone couldn’t love you. Besides the fact that you are unbelievably handsome…” Serenity could feel the sides of Damien’s mouth turn up at this. “You are fun, gentle, kind and loving.
