Serenity walked up and grabbed her sword. She held it in her hands, the sword felt lighter to her now. She let out a breath and then pulled the sword from its sheath. The sword was swirling with a dark red hue that actually glowed, lighting up the dim room. She could feel the warmth inside of her growing as she studied the sword carefully. She felt compelled to touch the tip of the sword. The moment she did, she felt it prick her finger and a small dab of her blood touched the blade. Then everything went dark.
