The sound of Llyssa and Leon riding through the valley echoed off the sides. Serenity had told them all to stay up on the hill so that they would be safe. Of course, Alex wasn’t about to let her plunge into the depths of darkness by herself and he didn’t hesitate to follow her. Leon and Llyssa rode back around in order to enter the ravine from the trail leading in. As they got closer, they saw that Serenity, Damien and Alex were all standing together. Damien had his arms protectively around Serenity, peering out into the distance, where soldiers were walking around and inspecting the bodies. The two walked up and quietly joined them.
