~Lily~ It was some other guy. Tall, tan, annoyingly hot. His shirt was halfway unbuttoned, chest on display like he knew he was God’s favorite. His hair looked like he’d just gotten off a jet ski and still managed to look perfect. His eyes were sharp, curious, amused. And yeah. He was staring at me like I was a walking meltdown. “Oh my God,” I said, trying to stand up straighter even though my spine was made of horny jelly. “Hi. Sorry. I’m fine,” I said way too quickly, like a girl who was very much not fine but trying so hard to sound like she hadn’t just been caught having a mental breakdown in the bar corner.
