All I could think about was the conversation that I had with Elena, I could see that she was genuinely afraid of Lukas, and the fact that she wasn’t sure of what he would do if she ran away seemed to scare her even more. I could understand why she was afraid, the man had already told her that he would kill everyone she loved if she dared to betray him and this was not a risk that she was willing to take. As upset as I was that she was choosing to stay with him and make me her side piece, I also had to kind of put myself in her shoes and try to understand why staying here was so important to her, I may not have agreed with her decision to stay here but I knew I had to understand if I had any hope of having a future with her.
