James went around his hacienda looking checking on the herds of cattle he saw a broken fence Steve saw his boss on the horseback he went toward him.
"I can see a broken fence what happened?" James asked.
"The cattle broke the fence after the commotion created by a fallen timber from the roof," Steve said.
"I see we still need to employ some workers to assist you doing the job," James said.
"Yes sir I need more workers to reinforce other workers the cattle are getting huge in number," Steve said.
James went back to his bungalow as Steve called other workers to repair the fence.
"Sir what happened to the fence we had repaired recently," Joshua asked.
"The commotion created by a fallen timber the cattle broke as they try to escape" Steve responded.
"Let's fix it before the rain start" Steve instructed.
They fixed the fence ass Steve checked on the cattle if all of them were in.
"Where is the veterinarian?" Joshua asked.
"He has not yet arrived I think he is on the way," Frank said.
Steve came with the piece of paupers.
"What are those papers for?" Frank asked.
"The boss of the hacienda needs to employ more employees when you are going to town you pinned them on the streets for people to know that we require more workers," Steve said.
He distributed the posters to all the employees for them to pin them on the streets.
"When you will be going back home please pin them on the street," Steven said.
It was time to go back home the employees took the posters and pinned them on the street.
Jack was going around the street seeking a job he saw posters pinned on the written job vacancy to work in the hacienda.
"This is James hacienda he has many cattle and plantations I think I can secure a job from the hacienda," he said to himself.
Dave held his back he was frightened wanting to run.
"Dave you made me frightened to death," Jack said.
"What are you looking for?" Dave asked.
"I saw this poster advertising the job vacancy to work in the hacienda," Jack said
"Me too I am looking for a job life has become unbearable in town," Dave said.
"Is there any qualification and any requirements?" Did Jack ask?
"Yes mostly in skilled labor they require qualification animal attendant need qualification," Dave said.
"My opinion is for us to go and inquire first before wasting our money processing the documentation" Jack reiterated
Dave and Jack went to the James hacienda reaching there they met other job seekers waiting at the gate of the hacienda.
The guards Manning the gate opened the gate and James the owner of the hacienda came out through the gate.
"Welcome if you need a job register with the guards and make sure you leave your phone number," James said.
"Those who did work in my hacienda to come in and start work as from now," James said.
The guards checked the records of the people they have worked in the hacienda and they found they called their names to remind them.
Most of them walked into the hacienda when they heard their names being mentioned.
Dave and Jack left their details and their phone number and left.
"Are you sure we are going to secure a job in the hacienda?" Jack asked
"Not sure this is almost the sixtieth place to seek a job but in vain" Dave said.
Jack laughed.
"Currently life is very hard without earning a living," Dave said.
"I don't know if we are going to secure a job there I understand they are paying fairly" Jack reiterated.
Let us go and wait for their response as they had said" Jack said optimistically.
"Can I have your phone number for me to call me or call you if I get the information that I have been informed to go to the hacienda?" Dave said.
They exchanged their contacts.
"Happy to have met you we would not have met you and shared our experiences," Jack said
"Do you remember we were fighting for the girlfriend in high school?" Dave asked.
They laughed at each other.
"See you tomorrow I pray that they contacted us tomorrow morning," Jack said.
"But are you still fighting for ladies just like in high school," Dave asked?
"But it was both of us whom we were fighting for girls," Jack said.
They parted each one going to his house.
Tomorrow morning both of them received the phone call Jack called Dave they met at the hacienda's gate.
"You Wait for a while at exactly eight am you are required to enter into the hacienda" Guard said.
"I think we are positive that we are going to get the job," Dave said.
"Most definitely we have secured the job God has listened to our prayer" Jack replied.
James came out of the gate of the hacienda.
"All of you come into the hacienda you have qualified for the job," James the owner of the hacienda said.
The gate was opened by the guard and all the people outside the hacienda entered.
"We have people wearing red shirts choose one and follow" James instructed.
"Let's follow the fat man," Jack said.
They followed the fat man they led them to where herds of cattle are.
