I watched as Sam, Aziel, Jaydan, and Nicki began scaling the cliff face. The way Sam climbed I would have sworn he was a monkey in a past life. It wasn't long, though, before the group was out of sight. A pang went through my heart at the thought of being separated from Sam, but I knew he needed to be up there with Nicki so that he could help her cast her sun spell. The longer she could maintain that spell the better our chances of winning this thing.
Without warning, the sky light up as though the sun had risen. This was my group's cue. We had decided to go in guns blazing. Talia easily broke the door down, and we rushed in.
