*Abi POV*
An hour after everyone has left, Omario is still hoovering over my tummy, whispering sweet nothings to his foetus. I still can’t get myself to maintain eye contact with him when he lifts up his head. I don’t even see him shift into Titan until I feel the soft fur against my skin.
My heart suddenly dances and my soul is at peace when my big fluffy smile-keeper jumps to my arms and licks my face. I can’t stop giggling as I run my hands through his soft fur. I don’t think I have been this happy since he and Omario left.
He slightly backs away and looks at me as if trying to recall something. His eyes are suddenly filled with sadness.
“T?” his sudden change terrifies me. Nothing and no one else gets to him, except me. He only looks like this when I did something hurtful.
