I wake up, expecting Kyla to be next to me, but her side of the bed is empty. Where is she? She is supposed to be here. We had planned to have breakfast together. It’s possible that she woke up early and was in the kitchen, drinking coffee. I drag myself out of bed and start searching for her. She is nowhere in sight. It’s possible she went out to get breakfast for us.
I go back to the bedroom and pick up my phone. No calls or texts have been received from her. I try to call, but it rings out. I try again and the same thing happens. Is she avoiding me? Did I scare her off last night? We had a fantastic time on our date, although it may have been too much for her. If that is the case, I have no one to blame but myself because Kyla thought it wasn’t such a good idea when I suggested
