Samika's POV
I watch as my dad makes a few phone calls regarding Alwin. I did not know my dad had these many contacts. I know he is one of the most influential people out there, but I did not picture him this way. I thought my dad would be arrogant and always barking orders at everyone. I even imagined him to be someone who would get things done with just a raise of his eyebrow. And this is a total surprise to me.
Dad hangs the phone call up and sighs in a sound that I have been hearing a while now. It is a mixture between relief and irritation. And considering the situation, both are justified if you ask me.
