"So yeah. My daughter Samika Adams is soon going to be marrying Paxton Locke and that is also going to be marked as the wedding of the jubilee" dad finally announces and my entire world runs in a slow motion after that.
I look at Paxton and he is smiling as he walks towards me and stands by my side. I don't say anything. My face doesn't display any kind of happiness and my dad holds my hand from the other side.
