A few weeks later
Prom is in a couple of days, I'm going dress shopping with the girls today. I haven't seen Carter after that day at his pack house, but we kept in contact on the phone. Asia misses him but I can care less about what she thinks, he's a player and I will not be mixed up with guys like him.
"Are you ready to go?" Linzey asks.
I nod.
I reply to the text Carter sent me, he wished he could be there for my prom but he'll be out of state this weekend. I'll need another escort, the girls will hang me if I go to my last prom dateless.
