(Ashley) The laundry room was busy as usual. Pack members moved in and out with baskets of dirty clothes. Everyone had to wait while the washers and dryers ran, so there was plenty of time to talk. I started folding towels at one of the tables, making sure to look busy. The guard by the door seemed bored and paid little attention to anyone. That worked in my favor.
