"You do know that John Adams is better off dead. Agree with me, Devon?" Paxton asks as I shove his ass into the car and he laughs when I don't answer.
"Remember that you were just scratched by a wolf," I remind him as I stare at the wound at the base of his neck now.
So that gives him a few hours of heads-up before he shifts. That was exactly what happened with Brent. Turns out when the drug is in your body that suppresses the werewolf side in you, only another werewolf's scratch or bite can trigger the shifting process again.
And the doctor earlier told us that Paxton here gave the same drug to Arnold. So the doctor herself triggered his wolf to wake up and I hope the process is going well now.
I want to see Samika before I leave to drop this asshole in Nyle's home.
