_Lisa's POV_ I don’t know how long I sat there, by the lake, knees pressed to my chest and arms wrapped tightly around myself. The stars above blurred as fresh tears welled in my eyes. My throat felt raw from screaming. My hands were sore from hitting the earth. My whole body trembled from cold and heartbreak. Sierra didn’t speak. She stayed quiet in the back of my mind. She was giving me the silence I needed. I was grateful. Words wouldn’t have helped right now. There were no words strong enough to describe the storm I felt inside me.
