As night fell, Ariel Ann put down the document in her hand. She looked out of the window and then looked at her watch; it was as if she had suddenly entered the world of strong businesswomen. She never dreamed that she would one day become the vice president of the Anderson family, and never had the thought of marrying into the Anderson family ever crossed her mind. She stood up and walked towards the window, feeling overwhelmed; she closed her eyes. Even though she had done it with Rex Anderson a lot of times, forcing herself to forget about the man that night, forget about his body temperature, even forget about that night. She was basically lying to herself. The cell phone on the table suddenly rang. She walked over to pick it up. It was Rex Anderson. “Is the work over yet?” “Yes”
