Addison’s POV
I was upset when they arrived unexpectedly. I hid behind Phillip as I did not want to deal with them today. Yesterday was hard enough without having to see more of the bullies who assaulted me. I didn’t want to deal with Valerie either. The events of what had happened yesterday were still fresh in my mind. The last time I saw Tripp and Alden was at the pool party, right before I left town. The sexually suggestive show they put on for me was very upsetting at the time. Probably because it was hot on the heels of the assault. After five years and excellent therapy, I realized that what happened to me wasn’t as bad as it had felt at the moment.
Now, they weren't innocent. What they had done was wrong, so wrong. But what they had done to me was much less scary. Com
