Addison’s POV
I tried to spare Valerie the argument. Not for her benefit. She deserves everything she gets, but out of respect for her parents. I felt Tandy put her hand down on my other shoulder and squeeze lightly. My Aunt and Tandy stood behind me, giving me their silent support. I have to admit that it feels good. I immediately stopped talking. I took the hint. I was about to ask Julie to let it go. Tandy had been around them the last few years. Tandy knew them. She knew what Julie was capable of doing. It was her way of letting both me and Julie know that she supported us. No matter how we responded to Valerie.
If Valerie wanted to clown, we would happily go along with her. She got mad at my aunt and immediately decided to go to where we were seated to cause me problems
