Dan and I headed to room upstairs in which the staff guided us. I didn't know what was happening downstairs but I can tell it wasn't pretty. I could voices and things being moved around, but none of it was clear enough to dostinctively tell what was going on.
"Nina, how are you feeling?" he slowly asked.
"Shaken up. Afraid. Traumatized." I quietly said.
"It's a good thing we got to you. Who knows what that jerk may have done to you if we hadn't arrived sooner." he said.
