Xena It has been a year since I left my old life and continent behind. I am nursing Xylon when Xaden walks in and plants a kiss on my cheeks. “Hey, sweety.” “Good afternoon, Mother. I am going to eat and be on my way.” I raise my eyebrow. He has settled in too well here. It helps that the people are great. “The team has a football practice. We have a match this weekend.” I nod. “don’t stay too late and don’t get hurt.” He laughs. He thinks I worry too much and too protective, but I can’t help it. “Well, you have Xylon if anything…” “Xaden!” I exclaim and he cracks up. “Just joking, Mother. I know that you love me more,” he teases while I shake my head and place his fast asleep brother on the cot bed. “He looks so much like him.” I nod, Xael’s image flashing in my head.
