HAVEN
"I'm tired, I need a break." I say to Ryder while laughing and he nods. A friend of his comes over then whispers something in his ear, he nods and looks at me.
"There's something I need to take care of, I'll be right back."
"Sure," I say.
Ember appears out of nowhere and links her arm in mine, pulling me with her.
"Where are we going?" I ask.
"We're going to get shots!"
I reluctantly go with her.
"Here," she hands me a small shot glass with something that looks blue.
"What the hell is this?"
She laughs over the music and says.
"Heaven on earth baby!" She throws her head back. "It'll help you forget all about Aamon tonight. I know my brother can be a piece of work sometimes.
I smile at her for the first time but she's too excited and tipsy to even notice.
