Lola watched the guards lead the four prisoners to the dungeon where they would await their execution. She was relieved that they were caught but had mixed feelings about them getting executed. A part of her wanted to believe that they could repent and change. The execution was too final for her liking. She needed to speak to her friends about it. “I don’t think you still need to protect me when those four are now incarcerated,” she told the guards who were still standing outside the car waiting for her. “We have ordered to stay by your side until further notice, Ma’am,” the guards informed her. Lola did not bother arguing and got into the car. She knew from experience that the guards would never disobey the royal. She will have a word with her friends when she gets to the hospital.
