After breakfast, Talia and I had no choice but to return to the great hall and find a place to sit. The strategic pack game between my father and Kaelan was still ongoing.
I watched nervously as they moved the carved pieces across the board. Each piece represented different pack territories, and the game required careful planning and foresight.
After what felt like an eternity, the game finally came to an end. Kaelan smiled graciously at my father.
"I lost. Alpha Marcus's strategic skills are superb, I am no match."
