WATCHING HER BABY BOY swear loyalty to his mate, forced a large knot into Circe’s throat. She promised herself she wouldn’t cry today, but the emotions of the day were just so enormous that she couldn’t help herself. She wondered if this was how her mother felt and her eyes caught a glimpse of the proud grandmother standing just to their left.
Melissa wasn’t hiding her tears at all and Circe fought back the urge to giggle as she presented her son and daughter-in-law to the pack. It was a great honour to preside over their ceremony. Blake caught her eye and she smiled brightly before watching Michael and Ann take their first walk down the aisle as a mated couple.
