"You're getting better," she commented as soon as I showed her my progress. I grinned from ear to ear upon hearing her compliment, then looked at what masterpiece with delight.
"But that is not the reason why I suddenly called for you, Cassandra," she said. I lifted my gaze back to her upon hearing that.
"What is it?" I asked, suddenly getting myself attentive to whatever she was about to say.
I put aside the knitted scarf I had made. I was still halfway of finishing it but I brought it here thinking that Maria wanted to see my progress of crocheting like what she was usally do every morning ever since she taught me how.
