Khalie’s second day working was more hectic than her first day. All the requisition documents of the different KD Buildings were submitted that day, and about 20 projects now on line up for design.
In the afternoon, the client for the outsourcing team arrived and outlined their requirement for the interiors of the new building. She spent two hours at the meeting alone. Then, she met her team for work assignments. They will be carrying a big load of work for months in her estimation.
Due to her workload, she forgot to inquire about Luke’s whereabouts and could not communicate with him since she arrived in the office.
She was momentarily unable to react when she saw him quietly standing by her door.
