A year later, Khalan couldn't delay further the KD head office offer. He was already obligated to take Chairman and President of the head office position under the shares he held from his parents and his grandfather. The combined shares made him the majority shareholder of the company, and the board was already pressuring him to take his place and lead the company.
Khalan was thinking of the best way to tell Aliyah. It would be a major adjustment for them, and he wasn’t sure how his wife would react to it. Aliyah’s career and business were booming, and it was unfair to ask her to settle in another country. He didn't know how to tell her.
