Anica’s pov:
I hurried home earlier because I thought of going to Zarina to find out her condition. She told me she was sick and I was a little worried for her. I would have surprised her... but ... but I was the one who got surprised!
I-I saw them... I saw her with Rye in her room and... hmn… and they were about to kiss!
It was as if something pinched inside my chest and I didn’t know what reaction I should show them. In my confusion I excused myself and hurried home but Rye chased me and stopped me from leaving.
