Chapter 26
Zarina’s pov:
I met Nico as I walked into our classroom. I don't know what he needs from me but I'm not in the mood for his antics.
I removed my eyes from staring at him and just continued walking as if I saw nothing. I increased my steps to get away immediately but when I passed by him, he called me again.
"Zarina, wait! I want to say something," he said which made me stop from walking.
I stopped myself from taking another step but I still didn't look at him. Instead, I just waited for him to speak again even though I wasn't facing him.
"What's that? If that's not important, just forget it," I replied.
"Ahmn, maybe it doesn't matter to you, but... to me it does!" he said as if there was sincerity in his words so I turned to look back on him a little.
