Rye’s pov:
After I went to the grocery store, I felt the urge to go to their house right away to see Zarina. Apart from the ingredients, I also bought her some fruit to help strengthen her resistance.
I took a taxi that was now turning onto their street. Since I was close to their house, I took my cellphone out of my pocket to text and inform her. After I sent my message with a grin on my face, I put it back in my pocket.
I looked ahead again and the happiness I felt gradually vanishing when I saw that she was outside their house and was talking to a man.

"Sir, should I take you down here?" asked the driver who peered at me from the small mirror in front of him.
