After hours of driving, Alex and Nox finally reached the place where Noah had led them. Nox unbuckled his seatbelt and opened the car door. Alex followed right after, stepping out into the busy street. Nox pulled out his phone, scrolled through his gallery until he found Noah’s picture, and paused. He took a deep breath, his chest tightening as he stared at his mate’s smiling face on the screen. His hand trembled slightly, but he tightened his grip on the phone, holding on to it as if it gave him strength.
