Ondrea is contemplating if she’ll tell her mother now or after the party. Maybe she can tell her with Drake around. But she’s not ready. Unsure how he would act or respond. Would Drake choose her because of their child? Is her love enough for him to keep her instead of her?
“Yeah, but I’ll tell you when I’m ready. Is that alright, mum?”
“Yes, fair enough.” Josie kissed her daughter on her forehead and hugged her,” I love you so much, Ondrea. Please don’t hate me for keeping you away from him, and it’s for the better. Let me set the table. Follow me when you’re done.”
Ondrea shook her to let her mother knows she was not upset about what happened a few days ago. “Okay.”
Earlier in the morning, right after opening the gift box from Drake, Ondrea sent her baby ultrasound message to Alexa.
[ Soon, Drake will leave you. He only needed you because of your money. I have what you can never have, and he doesn’t love you. You will see.]
She doesn’t know why she did that. Ondrea had faith that Drake would choose her and their baby over Alexa.
She holds on to Drake’s flowery words. He promised to marry her after breaking up with Alexa. Tonight, on her birthday. It is supposed to be, but it won’t happen because he made her his mistress instead of his wife.

AN HOUR AFTER, Olga, Ondrea’s cousin, comfortably welcomed herself in her bedroom uninvited.
“My poor cousin,” Olga said, scoffing. “From your lover?”
Stealthily, Olga’s noticed Ondrea’s sparkling diamond bangle bracelet. Touching the luxurious jewel, she felt envious. Indeed, it’s worth more than ten grand. The dress she’s wearing is a limited edition of Vera Wang’s casual and mini party dresses.
In a coarse tone, Ondrea irritably replied,” Why do you care?”
Ondrea looks adorably charming with the classic ivory champagne v-notch mini dress adorned with a matte crepe bodice. It has an above-the-knee soft charmeuse skirt with a trapunto-stitched satin sash. The dress is custom-made just for her.
It’s a must-see rivalry. Olga snapped a photo of Ondrea and then sent it to Alexa with a message. [Yes, he married you, but your husband will have a honeymoon with his mistress instead. Isn’t she charming?]
“You are an idiotic fool, Eya,” Olga hissed, revealing her cynical nature.
Ondrea ignored her cousin. She already knows Olga because her clique bullies her in school. She was already used to her cousins’ yapping.
“Mm-hmm, what did you tell me? Oh, you are bragging about your billionaire boyfriend will marry you, right?” Olga chuckled. “I hate to bring this good news to you. . . Oops. . . should I say. . .shocking news?” Olga’s wide eyes scrutinizing Ondrea, “then, what is this?”
Smirking evilly, Olga flashed her phone to Ondrea’s face. Ondrea grabbed Olga’s phone. It’s a video of Drake and Alexa’s wedding vows. Ondrea’s body trembled, her blood boiled in anger. Instantly, fuming madness raged throughout her body, mind, and soul. ‘Of all the days, why on her birthday?’
The caption says,” we tie the knot 828. No one can break us apart.”
Ondrea felt her heart shattered into tiny pieces. Her stomach started cramping, and she was breathing heavily.
“Secret marriage. Is it too painful, cousin? Drake doesn’t have a plan to marry you. Didn’t he?” Olga continued bickering,” so, what now? You’re too proud of your pretty face and sexy body. What now? Drake only used you, and you are only his short-time s*x partner when his fiancee. . . Uh. . . shall we call her now, what?” Olga held her hands on her temple, pretending to think of a word.
” Uh! Right! Right, I say his wife,” Olga arched her eyebrows and smirked.” You are only a substitute to Alexa whenever she is not around to give him pleasure. How stupid can you be, Eya? You’re the genius. A brilliant young woman but so foolish and blinded with your love. A love that is impossible for a man twice as age as you. What did he give you, Eya? Did he shower you with elegant pieces of jewelry, branded dresses? Fancy dinners? Oh! I know what he’s good at...It’s all over the internet. Alexa said his good in bed. “The best one she described.” So, is it the hardcore s*x?”
With piercing eyes, Ondrea exclaimed. “Shut the f*ck up, Olga!”
Despite Ondrea’s warning, Olga continued lecturing and provoking Ondrea.
“What do you like about your sugar daddy other than his pretty face? He’s a classic obnoxious bachelor, overly self-centered. I’ve told you so many times. Drake is only toying with you, but you didn’t believe me. He is manipulating you, Ondrea. Wake up! Umph. . .”
Olga let out an evil laugh, then cockedly said,” should I tell, Ethan? Oh, right, your mother. I should tell Aunt Josie of your intense obsession over him.”
Olga stands straight in front of Ondrea with her mocking expression. Then she clicked her tongue and nodded her head, agreeing to what she just uttered.
” I should tell Aunt Josie. Oh, Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! I can see how disappointed she will be. Her so innocent not so innocent daughter is-a-slut!”
Olga shouted and continuously provoked Ondrea with repugnance. Telling Ondrea Drake was fooling her was a lie. Olga couldn’t see anything special to Ondrea other than her angelic face and her supermodel slender physique. She saw it with her naked eyes, how Drake adored Ondrea since the day they met at the university.
Olga herself is a witness to those Drake’s lustful eyes on Ondrea. She knew how Drake desired her cousin more than Alexa. Olga envied her cousin to the bits. She has everything. Ondrea experienced having a family she didn’t because she’s an orphan. If her Aunt Josie chooses to agree with Mr. Echeverria, Ondrea will be filthy rich. Definitely, a trillion wealthier than de la Roche and Samañiego combined.
Ondrea is prevalent in the university, famous on the big screen, and made a name because of her robotic and software program inventions. Boys are all after her. And now, her Phantom Maze online virtual game soft launch is becoming the teens’ craze. In no time, she’ll be rich out of her own creation. Her invention of a new game patterned to the Ominous Solstice virtual game that her father created will make Ondrea the youngest self-made billionaire.
But her? No one dares to approach her. She’s nothing but a poor girl who’s staying with her Aunt Josie because her parents abandoned her.
Ondrea couldn’t control her anxiety any longer. Without thinking, she grabbed Olga by her neck and forcefully pushed her to the door.
“Dare yell at me again, Olga?” Ondrea threatened with Olga’s dark, piercing, fuming wide scornful eyes,” I swear. I’ll slit your throat!”
