Chapter 21

Titus' heart started to pound inside his chest as what Lamia is asking is not a part of their plan. Napatingin siya kay Kellan na ngayon ay seryoso pa din na nakatingin kay Lamia.

In a matter of seconds, Lamia's appearance changed. Lamia pulled her hair off her head as scales like a snake replaced Lamia's flawless skin. Lamia is no longer a beauty. She became a monster with fangs and sharp claws.

"Titus." Muling napatingin si Titus kay Kellan. May determinasyon pa rin ang mukha nito habang nakatingin kay Lamia.

"Whatever tricks Lamia's going to use, let me do it, bud. Ang tanging gagawin mo lang ay hawakan ang blade na iyan at itarak kay Lamia."

Titus sighed as Kellan's voice echoed to his mind. He nodded to Kellan as a go signal and Kellan just answered him with a salute.

Napailing si Titus. Motherfucker.

Kellan walked slowly. The heavy droplets of rain continue to touch the ground as thunders keep roaring in the sky.

Kellan dropped his scythe to the ground. He wore off his fedora as teleported to the roof and face Lamia's terrifying appearance.

"You wanted a kiss. Then I will give it to you, as a sign of my loyalty to you, Lamia," Kellan said that made Lamia laughs.

Lamia stopped laughing and Kellan almost winced when suddenly, Lamia's snake-like tongue traced his face. Like Lamia is tasting him.

"You taste so good, grim reaper," Lamia said to Kellan.

Nanatiling seryoso ang mukha ni Kellan habang patuloy pa rin na dumadaan sa parte ng mukha niya ang mahabang dila ni Lamia.

Napatingin si Titus sa hawak ni Lamia na snow globe kung saan nasa loob si Phoebe. Pakiramdam niya ay parang piniga ang puso niya habang nakatingin kay Phoebe na palutang-lutang lang sa tubig na nasa loob ng snow globe.

I'm sorry this happened to you, baby.

Kellan stood still as Lamia encircled her scaled arms to Kellan as she draws near to Kellan's face and kisses Kellan.

It was the signal Titus needed before teleporting to Lamia's back and stabbing her from behind.

"Argh! Arghhh!" Lamia shouted and her demonic screams filled the air mixed with the thunders in the sky.

Titus smirked. "I'm gonna f*****g kill you, Lamia."

Lamia hissed before moving. She turned her gaze to Titus and hit him with her hand that made Titus thrown into the chimney's wall.

"f**k!" Titus groaned as he felt the pain in his back.

Kellan moved to summoned his scythe. Mabilis na lumipad papunta sa kamay niya ang pag-aaring niyang karit kapagkuwan ay ipinaikot ito sa kamay niya.

Kellan walked towards Lamia as he swings his scythe just like a baseball bat before he stabbed Lamia's back with his scythe's toe.

"Argh! You insolent creatures! Argh!!!" Lamia keeps struggling as she continues to shout.

Tagos sa tiyan ni Lamia ang blade ng karit ni Kellan. Lamia was unable to move as Kellan hold his scythe higher to not make Lamia's feet touch the ground.

"Titus!"

Napatingin si Titus kay Kellan. Halata sa mukha ni Kellan ang paghihirap nitong hindi hayaang makagalaw ang halimaw na nakatarak sa pagmamay-ari nitong scythe.

"Titus! Do it now. Do it!"

Titus nodded as an answer before standing back and teleported. Titus appeared on the highest roof of the Rhoades' mansion. He sighed before running and jumping to the air.

He holds the silver blade firmly in his hand as he continues to land directly on Lamia.

When Titus is near enough to Lamia, he stabbed Lamia's forehead with the silver blade. Lamia shouted with excruciating pain as she felt the silver blade pierced right through the back of his head. Everything happens so quickly.

Titus removed the silver blade from Lamia's forehead. Muli niyang iwinasiwas ang silver blade sa leeg ni Lamia pagkatapos ay hinila niya ang ulo nito patanggal sa katawan nito.

Pagkatapos niyang matanggal ang ulo ni Lamia sa katawan nito, binitawan niya ito. He remain standing there as the rain continues to soaked them.

"Titus!"

Mabilis siyang napalingon kay Kellan. His eyes darted to the snow globe that is still on Lamia's hand that slowly slipping because of the rain.

His body tensed when he saw the snow globe out of Lamia's grasp. Slowly falling and rolling from the mansion's roof to ground while sudden flashback of his memory protecting Phoebe came back rushing into his mind.

He remained shocked as he watches the snow globe slowly touched the solid ground, breaking into pieces.

Nabasag ang snow globe. Nagkalat sa basa at malamig na sahig ang parte ng snow globe. Isang puting usok ang biglang namuo sa nabasag na snow globe. Nabuo iyon hanggang sa magporma na katawan ng isang tao.

"f**k, Titus!" galit na sigaw sa kaniya ni Kellan.

Titus felt like his world stop while watching Phoebe's body turn pale under the rain. Lying in the ground like a lifeless mortal.

"Ph-phoebe..." Dahan-dahan siyang lumapit sa katawan ni Phoebe.

"Why the f**k did you not move?! Damn it, Titus! I'm not bluffing when I said Lamia is dangerous!" Idinampi ni Kellan ang kamay niya sa leeg ni Phoebe kung nasaan ang pulso nito.

Naghintay siya sa sasabihin ni Kellan. He remained numb when Kellan turned his gaze on him and sighed.

Kellan stood up and faced him with a grimness. Umiling-iling si Kellan sa kaniya na ikinakabog ng dibdib niya.

Phoebe is dead. 

"No, no. She can't be dead. She can't die now. Not now! She can't. It's too early. f**k!" Titus keeps cursing as he kneels beside Phoebe's pale and cold body.

"She's not breathing, bud. I don't know what happens to you. You remained shocked there standing. Hawak ko pa sa ere ang katawan ni Lamia. Tsk!" Kellan said, pissed on what happened.

"Shut the f**k up, Kellan. Even I don't know what happened to me. I can't move. Pinanood kong malaglag ang snow globe. Wala akong ginawa," Titus said.

Nanatiling nakatingin si Titus sa katawan ni Phoebe. Unti-unti na rin tumila ang ulan habang ang mumunting sinag ng araw ay dahan-dahang lumalabas sa langit.
