"But we can't. You know that. We, grim reapers are forbidden to live like those filthy mortals." Titus said, as a matter of fact.

"Stop saying that they are filthy, Titus. You know that some of them are not."

Titus fell in silence. Kellan is right. Especially that he has a little girl who is so pure and innocent. Phoebe is not like those mortals he has encountered. Hindi ito gumagawa ng masama sa kapwa bagkus mabait ito kahit na makulit.

"Now, you're silent. Have you met someone who is not like what you said?" Kellan asked, but he shook his head as an answer. "No, I haven't. I've only meet drug addicts, pedophiles, rapists, sinners and killers," He said, trying to convince Kellan.

Kellan just stared at him for seconds before shrugging his shoulder. "Well, why am I even waiting an honest answer from you? You are secretive as always." Kellan said as he stood up, whimpering a little. "Argh, you really did f**k me good."

Titus grimaced. "Disgusting. Bakla ka nga talaga."

"Well, I think I got a bone injured in my back because of you, dickhead!" Kellan said as he acts injured.

"Ang drama mo, Kellan. Are you even a grim reaper?" Pang-aasar niya na agad naman ikinatingin sa kaniya ng masama ni Kellan. "Want to see my achievements?"

Titus just shook his head. "No need. I have better recorded achievements than you."

Napasipol si Kellan. "Boastful. And I thought, you're all boring dahil masyado kang focus, eh. Mayabang ka pala kapag kinilala."

Titus shrugs his shoulder. "I'm just stating a fact. Everyone in the division knows it maybe except you, so I'm just reminding you."

"Hindi ako makakalimutin, Titus. And by the way, because of my injured bone. Send a meal to my barracks tonight. You need to pay for what you did on me, motherfucker."

Natawa na lang si Titus. And after their last words, Titus left the alley contented by the fact that he is still doing great with his job and his secret even though he's a little f****d up.

TITUS made his self invincible when he entered Rhoades' mansion.

"f**k," he whispered lowly, feeling exhausted as he walks his way to Phoebe's room.

Triple sa dami ng mga nakokolekta niya ng isang araw ang nahuli niya. He wants to do his best para naman kahit papaano ay hindi manghinala ang chief ng kanilang division. He should be really careful starting tonight.

Ang planong nasa isip niya ay nakakapagod pero kakayanin niya 'yon. He needs to restraint his self from seeing Phoebe just like what he always does. Hindi na makakabuti sa kaniya ang pagkilos niya nang hindi nag-iisip. Tuwing gabi, kung saan tulog na ang mga tao sa mansion ng mga Rhoades, ang siyang oras na pupuntahan niya si Phoebe upang masilayan man lang ito. Pipilitin niyang pumunta sa mansion ng mga Rhoades kahit hindi na niya kinakaya ang pagod.

If only he's a God or any diety that is much more powerful on what kind of job he has, he will not need to limit his self. But he's a grim reaper. His body still needs to rest. He still needs to eat for energy. He only has the abilities that made him untouchable.

But he can't stop himself from thinking about Phoebe when he's not around. Paaano kung mawala na naman ito? Paano kung malungkot na naman ito kagaya noong kaarawan niya? Damn!

Titus can't stop himself from being distraught about Phoebe's life. He has a responsibility he has been doing since then. Hindi puwedeng magbago siya para sa batang anak ng isang kaluluwang inihatid niya sa barko ni Charon.

He should be cold and distant from mortals just like he is back then, but he felt it. He felt his self changing. He can't stop worrying about Phoebe since he saw her that rainy day.

That day where he felt different emotions towards her, especially sadness.

Napailing siya. I'm so f****d up.

Lumiko siya pakanan pagkatapos ay napatigil nang may narinig na pagkabasag ng gamit kasunod no'n ay ang sigaw ng isang babae. He knows he should not interfere, but he became curious when he heard Phoebe's name mention by the woman's voice.

Naglakad siya papunta sa dulo ng kanang pasilyo kung saan sigurado siyang nanggagaling ang mistulang galit na boses ng babae. Tumagos siya sa pinto ng kuwarto at napatigil nang makita ang mga magulang ni Phoebe.

Philip and Francheska Rhoades.

"Wala na akong pakialam pa kay Phoebe, Philip!" Hinihingal na umupo ang Mom ni Phoebe sa kama. "We have our own daughter now. Why are you still keeping her here? She's nothing to us now!"

Naiyukom ni Titus ang kaniyang kamao habang nakatitig sa Mommy ni Phoebe. Irresponsible and evil. Ngumisi si Titus. Tama lang na mapupunta kayo sa Tartarus.

"God, Cheska! Phoebe must stay in this household. You get me? She must or our family will have issues because of her," sagot ng Daddy ni Phoebe.

"Just exactly the reason you must get rid of her, Philip." Pagpupumilit nito na ikinailing ni Titus. These mortals deserve to die. They are both evils that Titus can't even believe this kind of parents does exist.

"No, Francheska. Phoebe can't go."

Napatayo ang Mom ni Phoebe. Nasa mukha nito ang galit dahil sa sinabi ng asawa. "At bakit? You can't let her go because she is the daughter of the woman you truly love, am I right?"

Umiling ang lalake. Nasa mukha ng Daddy ni Phoebe ang pagkainis at pagtitimpi. "Francheska, Ava is dead. I'm sorry if I hurt you by having a child with Ava. You do know that I also want to have a family, right? But back then, you can't. You can't give me a child back then."

Tanging tunog ng malakas na sampal ang narinig sa kuwarto pagkatapos ng sinabi ng Daddy ni Phoebe. Umiiling na nakangisi si Titus habang pinapanood ang nagngangalit na expression ng babae. Serves you right, b***h.

"You lied to me, Philip. You made me believe that you just contracted some woman to bear our child. Akala ko anak ko si Phoebe. Inakala ko na anak natin siyang dalawa pero hindi! You had an affair with that slut."

Nanatiling tahimik ang Daddy ni Phoebe. Titus tsked. Now, he understands everything. Phoebe is Philip and Ava's child. Phoebe's Dad loves Ava; that's why he chooses to have an affair with Phoebe's true Mom rather than finding a woman who is willing to bear their child.
