Calliope's heart was thumping loudly as they walked through another secret passage to the prison where Thanatos, the rogues, and the warriors were put.
"Careful and watch your every step, young lady," Josea said.
"Thank you," Calliope said. Her hands were clasped together and were sweating profusely.
After twenty minutes, as Calliope estimated inside her head. She could see the light ahead.
The butler continued walking, and the King purposely put Thanatos on the far side of the prison cell for this purpose. He guided Calliope to Thanatos's cell.
Calliope immediately saw Thanatos facing the wall. The butler nodded at her and stepped aside, leaving the room for the two to talk while still guarding. Calliope held the bars with her hands, and tears escaped her eyes.
