Thanatos woke up gasping for air. His face contorted with pain and touched his body where he remembered being slashed. Thanatos was covered in a bandage from his chest down to his torso.
"Hmm," Calliope moaned in her sleep. Thanatos immediately glanced where the noise was and found her sitting on the chair and uncomfortable lying her head on the bed.
"Babe...Cali," Thanatos called and shook her body. Calliope slowly opened her eyes and gasped in shock.
"Than!" she cried out and hugged him. Thanatos hissed in pain when Calliope accidentally touched his wound.
"Oh, gods! I'm s-sorry," Calliope muttered and sobbed. Thanatos cupped her face and rested his forehead on hers as she kept crying.
