I awoke to soft sheets, and the morning light trickled in through the blinds. Shedding myself of the remaining glimpses of a nightmare, my eyes were still shut as I soaked in the warmth of my covers before letting my brown eyes see the sun's rays.
Ramdam ko ang matinding p*******t ng katawan ko na tila ba maghapon akong napasabak sa bugbugan. My head is aching and part of my face feels numb. Iginalaw ko ang ulo ko, sinubukan igala ang paningin sa paligid. All I can see was the white ceiling, white walls and some appliances.
Memories from last night suddenly flashed inside my head. The rain pouring so hard, the car hitting a tree, the flames of fire around me... and Daniel lying on the ground while face pooling with his own blood.
"D-Daniel..." I muttered inwardly as tears
